Feeding Guidelines

The feeding guide provides a starting point that should be adjusted as needed to maintain optimum weight and conditioning. Monitor your dog’s weight and adjust the daily amount as needed. Feed twice daily and always provide fresh, clean water.   SMALL & MEDIUM PUPPIES: At 1½ - 3 months old, feed twice the adult amount. At 3-6 months, feed 1½ times the adult amount. At 6-11 months, feed 1¼ times the adult amount. GESTATION: Increase by 25% to 50%. LACTATION: Feed “free choice.”
